What you can have deleted
When you message our business on Instagram, the GrowthCo Concierge stores information tied to your conversation — your Instagram-scoped user ID, your message content, timestamps, and the conversation state it derives (such as which package interests you). If you made a purchase, we may also hold the name, business name, and email you gave at checkout. You can request deletion of all of this. Choose one of two ways to request deletion
Both methods reach the same place. Pick whichever is easier for you.
Option 1
Email us
- Send an email to richardgrowthco@gmail.com.
- Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request.”
- In the message, tell us the Instagram username (handle) you used to message us, so we can locate your conversation and confirm the request is yours.
- Optionally add any detail that helps us find your data (for example, roughly when you messaged us). Then send the email.
Option 2
Message us on Instagram
- Open the same Instagram Direct conversation you had with our business account.
- Send a message that says you want your data deleted — for example, “Please delete my data.”
- Because the message comes from your own Instagram account, we can match it to your conversation. We may ask a brief question to confirm the request before we act on it.
What happens next
- We confirm we received your request and, if needed, verify that it relates to your account.
- We delete the personal information associated with your conversation — your Instagram-scoped user ID, message content, timestamps, and derived conversation state — and any checkout details we hold, unless we are required to keep specific records to meet a legal or tax obligation.
- We remove your data from our systems, which are hosted on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, and KV).
- We confirm to you once the deletion is complete, using the same channel you contacted us through.
We aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days.
A few things to know
- Deleting your data with us does not delete the original messages stored in your own Instagram account or by Meta. You can manage or delete those from within Instagram.
- We may retain a limited record where the law requires it (for example, transaction records for a completed purchase). Where that applies, we delete everything else and keep only what we must.
- After deletion, if you message us again, the Concierge will treat it as a brand-new conversation.
